In the most central part of the city, in a building that belongs to another era as it was constructed in the late 1950s, the complete renovation of a 27sqm one-room apartment proved to be a particular challenge.

The owners’ desire was for the final result to fulfill the current needs of the tenant but at the same time remain in harmony with the building’s original architectural identity.
Aiming for the best natural lighting, a completely open space was created in which the living room, kitchenette and bedroom coexist, with light passing freely through the house’s only opening.
At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the design of a fairly spacious bathroom in a minimal style with a combination of a floor that resembles cement mortar and wall coverings in timeless marble.
