In the first phase, the load-bearing structure of the building was constructed and after almost 30 years, it was decided to complete the house but with new data regarding the needs of the owners. The architectural plans of the residence were modified with the addition of a section on the ground floor and the work resumed.

The challenges that had to be faced were great in terms of construction, as the existing load-bearing structure that had been exposed to weather conditions had to be statically strengthened and at the same time all the necessary work had to be carried out to achieve the maximum energy savings required by the needs of the time. The goal was achieved by selecting the appropriate materials and frames in terms of insulation but also in terms of heating systems, with the impressive fireplace that dominates the living room warming the entire house with the use of wood.

The feeling of warmth is pervasive everywhere and is enhanced by the wooden floors throughout the house, the special color of the kitchen and most importantly the impressive roof made of high-quality Swedish wood that one sees when looking at the ceiling of the living room. The bathrooms have been clad with pressed cement mortar applied in such a way as to highlight the rustic character of the house.

The exterior of the house is dominated by simplicity, which is enhanced by its contrast with both the wooden element in the frames and railings and the stone cladding of the vertical surfaces of the fence
